Gordon Ramsay signs up for “Heaven’s Kitchen” Adventist potluck series

CULVER CITY, Calif. — Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has decided to add a new show to his current filming schedule. The new series will be called Heaven’s Kitchen and will attempt to single out the Seventh-day Adventist with the most talent for potluck preparation in the United States.

In order to make the series logistically feasible, filming of the series will take place at La Sierra University, just over an hour from Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen soundstage in Culver City, California where he is filming the latest season of the long-running show.

Heaven’s Kitchen will be similar to Hell’s Kitchen in that contestants will initially be split into teams competing to win a series of challenges.

As Adventist contestants on Heaven’s Kitchen are eliminated, the final seven will compete individually, preparing dishes for what Ramsay promises will be a collection of the “strictest and pickiest vegans the Loma Linda blue zone has to offer.”

The contestants will be nominated by their local Adventist church, and will compete under strict conditions that show producers have called “the typical hour or so before Friday sundown when Adventists start panicking about what to bring to potluck the next day.”

Ramsay has promised to rein in his famous temper, which results in profanity having to be “bleeped out” of Hell’s Kitchen interactions with contestants. With the Adventist show, Ramsay has vowed to use only “vegetarian curse words.”

  1. Ramsey has his job cut out before him. By the time he is done, he will change the name of “Heaven” to the other name mentioned unless he comes to my church. Things begin to change here. The basic ingredient is Little Debbies. In moderation, of course. Ramsey will certainly use his famous cuss vocabulary wherever he goes. Bring the ear plugs!! PS-Ramsey hate vegan style cooking. Think of a plan B.

  2. Can’t wait. Fabulous idea. Vegan will be very interesting!!! Why not vegetarian. ??
