COLLEGE PLACE, Wash. — A 50-something man who was formally declared missing by his family last weekend has been found in a church committee meeting
Bo Ludo sheepishly admitted to local reporters and emotional family members that the agenda on the Walla Walla University Church board meeting had been “a bit too ambitious.”
Family members, concerned that he had not returned after his Sunday afternoon meeting, raised the alarm with local authorities who combed the area searching for him.
“When we search for the lost they turn up in the unlikeliest places,” said Walla Walla Police spokesperson, Han Forsvann.
“This is the first time we’ve found someone half-way through a heated argument about whether or not the church lobby carpet needs replacing.”

This happened to me 3 years ago. My wife sent out an APB. I returned home the next day with a slight memory loss. Still affects me to this day! Woe iz me!!
TO ME, THE OPPOSITE HAPPENED. I WAS ASKED TO PARTICIPATE IN ONE OF THE COMMITTEES AND I NEVER SHOWED UP, THANK GOD.
At least these folks are still welcome to a church board meeting.
By accident I attended a church board meeting about two years ago. For the first time in ten years. They were discussing the same thing as ten years ago. Upon inquirie I found out they had discussed the same things every meeting since.
I then suggested that they all be required to watch the movie “Fifty First Dates”.
That didn’t go well. I haven’t been welcomed back since.
The joke is on him! There is no carpet in the WWUC lobby!
