Slide Show — Stand, sit or kneel: What to do during an Adventist church service

"Scripture Reading"

Picture 14 of 18

What it is: Someone reading a verse or verses from the Bible. What you do: Stay seated. To get extra pious points, try to look up the verse being read, or at least pretend like you are. (Photo by Edgeurged via wikipedia)

Usually, I kneel “as far as possible”. might even prostrate myself at prayer like the Publican or I can stand like the Pharisee. Options!! Closing eyes for meditation purposes during the service is also great solution. Oops, I just missed the Doxolgy or was it the Benediction? Woe is me!!
