SILVER SPRING, Md. — For the first time in its history, the Comedy Hall Of Fame has inducted an Adventist.
The first Adventist to join this elite circle of comedy greats is none other than General Conference Executive Secretary, G.T. Ng.
Comedy Hall Of Fame scouts are said to have been alerted to Ng’s stand-up abilities when, at GC San Antonio in 2015, he announced that he was unsure how many grandchildren he would have as his married kids could, as he was speaking, be working on producing more.
The former seminary dean has long been known in Adventist circles for his ability to spark up the most dreary meetings with what is widely considered to be an inimitable style that no one else should attempt.
Upon news of his induction to the Comedy Hall Of Fame, Ng requested that the decision be sent back to nominating committee.
