Theft is “almost as bad as wearing jewelry.” Good one, sevvy! It’s interesting how we mix up our priorities. We strain out a gnat but swallow a camel. . . . GodLovesJewelry.com
Please mention the taking of food from the cafeteria for midnight snacks or Sabbath breakfast. How about sneaking out at night to go to town for some real food!! Anybody remember what we had at AUC for Sabbath breakfast many years ago?
Clearly, they want you to pay the $1 fine (#6) rather than $200 fine (#10). Plan your semester budget accordingly.
Wow. PUC wasn’t that strict back in the 1970s
SDA priorities are inanely similar to those portrayed in “To Kill A Mockinbird” in which “matches are dangerous, but cards are fatal.”
This is on the same level as B.M.A. in the 60’s. Is this a new kind of prison camp where you pay to attend? WOW!
Since it doesn’t appear on the list, I’m assuming that the hefty fines I used to pay for “making out with excessive energy” no longer apply?
It certainly does still apply. I got kicked out for kissing the college president’s daughter on the steps of Wright Hall. I not only had to pay a fine, but got expelled. Interestingly, nothing was done about the girl. She was treated like a victim, then ended up marrying a theology major. She now runs a support group called VMO (Victims of Making Out with Excessive Energy) and a nonprofit called GAPK (Girlfriends Against Premarital Kissing).
