SILVER SPRING, Md. — In a bid to end all debate about appropriate skirt-length for Adventist women, very old men who lead the church decided the only sensible solution is that Adventist skirts should reach the floor.
“We have gone back and forth on this issue for years, so it is with a lot of relief that we can say that we have finally simplified the skirt-length controversy for Adventist women,” said General Conference spokesperson Meno Baest.
He added that not only would skirts that reach the floor portray proper Adventist modesty to the world, but also that “they will help keep Adventist homes and churches clean without having to hire people to mop and dust the floor.”
Stooooopid Idea. Get real! Where is all that dirt gonna go? In the halls of Barely Adventist?
WONDER WHAT GOD THINKS OF MERE HUMANS HIDING ALL THE PRETTY LEGS HE HAS CREATED.
ONE WOULD THINK WE ARE ASHAMED OF IT!!
DISGRACEFUL.
Which is exactly the length Ellen White warned against. Guess the “brethren” continue the tradition of ignoring her counsels when they go against their opinions.
