Gun Lover: Desmond Doss Is My Hero

Double vision.

BACKFIRE, Mich. — Gun-loving Adventist, Trig Dedo, couldn’t be prouder of his hero, Adventist World War II veteran, Desmond Doss, who saved 75 lives in the Battle of Okinawa, all without carrying a weapon or firing a single shot.

As soon as Hacksaw Ridge came out on DVD, Dedo was in line to buy it, even if it made him 15 minutes late to the NRA live auction he was rushing to.

Whether he is greeting visitors on Sabbath morning; shopping for ammo as soon as the sun sets or out at the shooting range on Sunday morning, Trig can’t say enough about the amazing witness of his favorite conscientious objector and his dedication to the principle of noncombatancy.
