Trump: Mexico’s University of Montemorelos stealing Adventist students from US

Vive La Experiencia

NEW YORK, N.Y. — In a tirade against Mexico’s stealing of US business, President-Elect Donald Trump added that Mexico-based University of Montemorelos was stealing Adventist students from Adventist schools in the US.

Trump said he had been told by Adventist friend and former neurosurgeon Ben Carson that Montemorelos was unfairly leveraging its Adventist status and lower tuition costs to lure innocent Americans across the border to be educated at a fraction of the cost.

“There will be YUGE repercussions for this behavior,” tweeted Trump thanking Carson for alerting him to the tuition business slipping south.

Carson, who was immediately put in charge of stopping the recruitment efforts of Montemorelos, said that all options were on the table for how to respond to the Mexican Adventist threat.

Carson did admit, however, that building a wall between Mexico and the United States would do little to stem the flow of Adventist Americans flocking to Montemorelos for college.

  1. Next thing you know, Trump will be after the vega foods that are made in Mexico and shipped directly to all our USA ABC’s. The containers & labels are made in USA and shipped down to co packing plant in southern to be filled & reshipped back here. Look at label-hecho en Mexico. Only Little Debbies are still made in the good old U S of A. Ole, Little Debbies. Mucho Gusto!! Mia Amore. Woe iz me!!

    1. That product actually exists, it’s known in Mexico as Col-Pac Vegetarian Products. They are produced at a Mexican Adventist University known as Universidad de Navojoa…They have been producing vegetarian products ever since the 1970’s…

I DONT KNOW WHY ANY US KID WOULD WANT TO GO TO THAT UNIVERSITY. YES YOU SAVE MONEY, BUT IF YOU ARE A CITIZEN IN THE GREAT UNITED STATES, WHY TO IT? THOUSANDS RISK IT ALL TO COME HERE AND US KIDS GO TO MEXICO? SILLY!

I went to that school, it is a beautiful gated community, the faculty members live there to, and the boarding school environment is great. Kids from 35 countries when I was there in the 70s and early 80s. The level of education is superb, I was a MS and HS student there. When I came to US my university sent for my records and most of my classes where college level. I was given 2 semesters of chemistry, biology, physics, and algebra. I know the environment out of campus is different now, but we have all we need inside, super market, wonderful vegetarian food. The best time of my youth.
