GC Sets Up GoFundMe To Counter NAD Tithe Cuts

Worth a try?

SILVER SPRING, Md. — As the North American Division starts to reduce the portion of tithe it sends to the General Conference, the denominational headquarters has set up a GoFundMe account to help the GC bottom line.

The GoFundMe campaign joins a list of other new revenue streams including renting out empty second floor offices as Airbnbs for people that appreciate dark, cavernous office decor, random and very scary-looking statues and a highly vegetarian cafeteria.

Donors to the GoFundMe campaign automatically receive preferential seating at GC sessions. Donations are not accepted in USD.
